About Me
My name is Cajsa but a lot of people call me Linny. I was born in Sweden on April 10, 1990. I reside with my dad, my mom past away in 1995 of cancer. I have an extra family whom I've grown up with more or less. Counting in both of them I'm the youngest of five children. I have two sisters and two brothers. My sister on my mom's side is nineteen years older then me and my (extra) brothers are sixteen and twelve years older then me while my (extra) sister is eight years older. I mostly grew up with my sister who is eight years older then me and whom I share a birthday with. I have four nephews and two nieces. I spoil my nine year old niece, Alina, to bits and pieces.
In June 2009 I graduated from school having majored in Social Studies. During fall semester 2009 and Spring semester 2010 I picked up
some leftover courses and finished in May 2010. In September I left for London, UK and worked as an Au-Pair for nine months.
I'm now back in Sweden and I work on the west coast, where I'm currently living.
I am interested in History, Math, Film, Theatre and languages among other things. I speak Swedish and English fluently and some French, Norweigan and poor Danish.
In my spare time enjoy photography, theatre, literature, photoshop, film/TV, music, friends, babysitting, hanging out with Alina, my family and my (extra mom) Else's daycare children. During the summers I love swimming and I used to do horseback riding.
I'm a believer in animal, children- and womens rights. Global Warming is also something I hold in high regard. We only have one earth!
There are many people I admire. To name a few; Mariska Hargitay, Kerry Ellis, Alaina Huffman, Dolly Parton and Hillary Clinton. The list of all people I admire would be too long to write down. There's a lot to admire a person for, such as, their music, politics, writing, acting and/or personality. I also admire people in my everyday life such as my grandma!
Since I was little I've enjoyed escaping this world with a good book. There are so many great stories out there but some authors
have me coming back for every single one of their books. People like P.J. Tracy and Jodi Picoult.
Other writers I have dug my teeth into and loved are J.K. Rowling, Erica Spindler, Philip Pullman, William Moberg and as a child I loved reading Joanna Campbell and Maj Bylock.
I enjoy reading diffrent genres of thrillers and drama, auto-biographies, classics and screenplays. Sometimes I can also find myself enjoying childrens books and sci-fi.
On the television front I'm currently watching New Girl and The Vampire Diaries. My favorite shows such as
'Criminal Minds', 'Castle', 'Law & Order: SVU', 'Fringe', 'Two and a half Men', 'The Good Wife', 'NCIS' and 'Sanctuary' are returning during fall. I also enjoy watching re-runs and re-watching old time favourites like
'Bewitched', 'Stargate SG-1', 'JAG', 'The X-Files', 'Pacific Blue' to name a few. There are so many good shows out there. Old as well as new!
My current favorite movies are Robin Hood, Orphan, Firelight and Some Like It Hot. I also love 'El Orfanato', 'National Treasure', 'Shoot 'em Up', 'Blood Diamond' and 'The White Countess'.
Other then film and television I also adore theatre! At the moment I'm currently enjoying Sister Act and Ghost.
